Dear customer-partners and visitors
The Global Voice Group team and I would like to wish you a happy and prosperous year 2012.

Each New Year brings its lot of opportunities and changes. This applies even more to the telecommunications sector, where technological evolution and globalization play a very important role. One does not need a crystal ball in order to predict that next generation networks will keep on developing rapidly in 2012. It is also not necessary to be clairvoyant to predict that the IP traffic will keep on growing to the detriment of traditional voice traffic.

In 2012, quality of service will remain a major preoccupation for consumers and telecommunications regulators, in a context where network extension and rapid growth of customer base do not always go hand-in-hand with an improvement of the services. By-pass fraud on international calls will also remain a significant problem, which will more than ever require effective anti-fraud tools, as well as a consultation between all the players involved.

As in the past, one of the great challenges of regulation will be to ensure that the evolution of interconnectivity remains a driver of economic growth for emerging economies, both nationally and internationally, and that the distribution of its increasing revenue is carried out with more transparency and equity.

Telecommunications regulators play an increasingly important role as far as the healthy evolution of the sector is concerned. They promote and protect the interests of the consumers, governments and industry players. Global Voice Group is proud to assist them in accomplishing this crucial role by providing them with governance technologies that are adapted to a telecoms environment in constant evolution.
